I thought I'd post a picture of my run-in with the Duke boys:

This was a month or so ago in Nashville at Cooters Garage. It's a neat little store/museum and actually owned by the guy that played Cooter in the show.
i have always wanted 1 and i still want 1.
They have a Cooter's Place in Gatlinburg too , I have a picture of me sitting in The General with Enos leaning down talking to me
I'll see if I can somehow get it scanned and post it
LOVE IT !!! I would not be shamed to get naked and roll all over a Charger.......alone of course.LOL. I have always loved the '68 to '70 Chargers (especially the '70). Dodge got all their stuff perfect on them.
The '68-70 Chargers perfected the pen 15e-bottle shape thing. Chargers are probably my favorite Mopar...but as cool as the General Lee is, I would rather have a Charger in black. I think that's their best color:

My neighbor in Mass had a 69 Charger 500 it was light blue with a white stripe and it was too cool
Small world ...
here's my wife's boys ...
I personally like the 67 better.
I see that everyday...... I work in Nashville and have never once been to check that place out. I want to though. I love that car LOL
It's free, unless you take your pictures sitting in the cars
I'd take a 71 Roadrunner/GTX over that personally. I just love the front end, its so perfect.

D & P ;)
ben jones is the guy who played cooter in the dukes of hazzard.. he was my idol for years on end.. i've always thought about taking a trip to the 1 in gatlinburg ever since i watched the bonus material on the last disk of 1 of the season(i think season 4) dvd box sets.. he has everything there ever was with the 'dukes of hazzard' name on it lol
I have always like challengers better than chargers. But that black one has a great front end. Kinda looks like an early cougar front.
The Daytonas and the Superbirds are the top of the automotive food chain for me. They (especially the Superbird) were the cars that have always made me pee my pants......I'll be right back....I have to change clothes.
I'll second that emotion............"Do what?".
The Charger,in my opinion, was one of those iconic cars that just couldn't be improved on in the looks department. They got it right.
Steve, Sir... go take another look at the early Cougars please. Thank you :)

seriously? you don't see the similarities in the front? I know they're not the same but they're kinda alike.....

No, sorry I don't see much similarity between the Charger and Cougar.
While we are taking about Mopars...I always fancied the Cuda in Plum Crazy w/black Billboard graphics.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I'm only talking about the freaking grilles of that particualar gd model gaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
this has gone to far I give up:shoothead:
you, my friend, have the same taste in mopars as i do.. i love cuda's.. 1 day i'd love to get my hands on a 74 to literally make my dad drop to his knees and cry.. it's his all-time favorite car
Yeah dude I know what you are trying to say...but there is not much common between the two. Maybe if you were drunk and had sand in your eyes?? lol
My favorite car of all time is the '69 Chevelle...but a Plum Crazy 'Cuda would be soooo sweet. Those cars just had a "bad ass" vibe especially with the shaker hood, window louvers, etc. OK now I'm 2nd guessing the Charger as being my favorite Mopar. I think I want to change my vote to 'Cuda!

meh, shoe box chevelles all the way.. 68+ just doesn't tickle my fancy 1 bit
I like all Chevelles but 68-69 were the best two years, IMO. The tail lights on a '69 are friggin sweet. I also think I like the 68-69 because they appear to be smaller sized than the earlier ones (not sure if they really are).
Yes, the two doors got a shorter wheelbase starting in '68.
