Looks good.  I helped a buddy paint his Silverado a color very similar to that a few years ago.

Yep, hasn't been color sanded and buffed yet, this is just after spraying.:D

It's normal to get some orange peel somewhere. that's why you cut and buff after you paint.... You should see some of the horrible factory paint jobs on very expensive cars nowadays... Orange peel from end to end.

Yep, that's what the teacher says also, he's especially disappointed with Cadillac paint jobs...lol.:D

Some of the airdam, after color sanding and buffing. Got a couple nicks in it from sitting around at school.:punchballs: But it still is way better than when I started...lol.  Like to eventually paint the white Sport this color.:bowdown:

Looks good. Are you planning on putting the ground fx on the white one?

That'll look good. It's real close to the color of my Fusion, red fire. When it's all cleaned up and the sun's shining it just sparkles! And with the windows tinted I think it looks awsome. Here's a pic for comparison. The sun's not hitting it real good but at least it gives you an idea.

Nice looking Fusion!!  It's actually a Tbird color, 2D medium scarlet, doesn't photograph well...lol. First thing the wife said when she seen the color is, "you're gonna paint the whole car, right??!!" It's like Vinnie always says, one piece at a time.:D

Thanks, I like it real well. I want to get a set of wheels for it yet then I'll be even more happy with it. Your Bird is going to look great in that color. I've been wanting a set of ground fx for mine for a long time. One of these years I'll find an affordable set.
