Title: Parting out the '84 TC
Post by: Ifixyawata on May 12, 2005, 02:59:28 AM
Yeah... only had the car a couple months.  To me, it's not worth trying to fix its numerous problems. I only have a week or less to get the car off the property, so make requests fast and I'll tell you if the parts have already been claimed or if I won't be able to get them off or what.  The car's an '84 Turbo Coupe with a 5-speed.  Let me know what y'all need and I'll check this thread often.  Thanks.

So.....you parting it, or trading it?

Short list:
-steering wheel
-door side mouldings
-shifter surround/boot
-"EFI Turbo" emblems from fenders/dash
-"TurboCoupe" script from trunk
-fogs

ifixyawata,
I'm looking for a nice, uncracked dashpad for my '84 Cougar LS.  My original is dark brown, but a black one would do in a pinch, too.  I have very little spendable money right now; what would you take for your dashpad, minus shipping (which I know will be on the high side)?  Like Chuck W asked, is there anything you are needing that you might trade for?  I've still got a few parts hanging around.  Thanks for the reply.

P.S. I forgot, I also need the radio/AC surround piece for the center of the dash.  What would your price be on that?  Thanks again.

My comment was more to the effect that he has decided to part the car instead of using it as trade on another car...

ipsd - I don't have the cornering lamps, so my moulding won't work for you.

Chuck - as I said, I'm trying my best to get the parts off of the car, been working overtime lately.

There's no rush, I just was inquiring.  I've been busy myself the past few days.

When you get a chance, look at what you have and what you might want for it and we'll talk.
