or is it my luck that sucks?
Oh man. I'm so sorry that happened! What a heart breaker. I hope you have good insurance and can source some good replacement parts! Bummer.
the insurance part is what is getting me down. liability just wont cover that and the other driver got up and ran away like nothing happened.
He wont be running for long.
yep Karma isnt something to mess with ;)
you dont have comprehensive?
Nationwide would have covered my explorer last week for $100 deductible, but I ended up pulling parts from the yard, same color for $50.
Just an idea
Yes check if you have comp, it usually covers such things.
You know, I know a lot of people who go waaaay deep into the woods to get deere, and half of the time, they come back with nothing.
It seems to me that the sensible solution would be to travel a road surrounded by woods and just wait. you're bound to get one eventually..
I hope your insurance covers that 88turbo. Good luck!
ouch !
Oh man.. :( I'm so sorry to see this.. and wow.. lots of accidents since I've been gone. oo;
Luckily it's merely a flesh wound. Could've been a lot worse.
Seen the carnage on facebook man??? You can get that bird fixed again, just got to find more parts for it!!!
Wow, sorry to see this happened! I agree deer suck! We have to be extra carefull around here now, buck season's in so they're on the run. If you haven't found a headerpanel yet check my ad I have one.
oh so thats why you need a header panel:rolleyes:
That stinks. My son was stressed over finals a couple of years ago and took his TC out for a cruise to relax. He smoked a deer too. When he told me, I said, "Well, that wasn't very relaxing." It looked a lot like yours. Just take a deep breath, find some parts and dig in. When you're done, I am sure it will look better than before. GL!!
I love comp!!! need a new paint job? drive faster in a hail storm, that rusty fender got you down?? park under a small tree in a thunder storm and hope for the best!
I have killed more deer with a ford then a remington
are you guys saying that Comp claims are paying off for these cars?
seems to me the insurance co would total the car for merely a header panel due to availability of "no new" parts or even lack of bone yard doners.
So comp pays off? Enlighten me.
arent these like 500 dollar cars to most insurance companies?
Yes, insurance companies are paying off for these cars if you have comp. We got $1700 to fix my son's deer hit and it was a lot like 88turbo's.
And yes, that is a little deer fur on the bumper....
