Title: 87 TC feeler
Post by: turbo_88_XR7 on November 27, 2010, 12:29:23 AM
i'm in the process of working out a deal for 2 TC's.. looking to sell the 1 as a whole right off the bat, do NOT want to part it out.. there's no motor/trans but the rest of the car is there.. was a 5 speed car and still has the driveshaft

looking to see what you guys would offer for it, no BS offers, i know what these cars are worth and won't let it go for pennies.. no pics but the guy says the body and interior are intact and in decent shape. i'm located in south jersey, less than an hour from philly and delaware

I live in the rust belt, and I bought my running, driving, complete rust free 5speed TC for $650. About a year later I bought 3 parts cars in a package deal for $800.

i'm thinking about posting both for sale and keeping the 1 that doesn't sell.. the other is a complete, running, ready to go,  good looking 87 TC 5spd. i don't think i would let it go for less than $1500-2k though, it's a gorgeous piece

I agree. You'd really move the one if you stuck an engine/trans in it. Hell, if I were closer and had some $, I'd snag it up for a future 351 project.

I found that pics are deceiving.

Id comment on a price but i would prob get crucified by cynical members again!!! Ive bought 5 t-birds and never paid over $1000 for decent nice driving cars. So id say maybe $300 for a nice roller up to $500maybe?? Drivers seem to go from $7-800 for shiznitboxes.  (LOL):)

yeah john, those are the 1's.. the blue 1 looks great, other 1 is 'ok'.. if i have the cash free and clear (and not taking it out of bill money), i'll keep the blue car TC powered for a while, until i find yet another dart block.. i just picked 1 up saturday and dropped it off at the machine shop.. here comes another 408 lol that'll find it's way into the roller if i can hold onto it.. my insurance company is going to love sending me my bill.. LMAO
