Title: The Walking Dead on AMC
Post by: 50tbrd88 on November 14, 2010, 08:25:56 AM
Anyone been following this?  I have not read the novels but I'm lovin' this series so far.  I'm a sucker for zombie flicks anyway, but this show is more about what the survivors go through and how they survive.

Another big zombie fan here. I've been wanting to watch this show but don't have cable. I'll just have to wait till it's out on Netflix.

I don't understand the zombie obsession. I read the zombie survival guide in highschool, and even that was a stretch after talking to others that read the book.

You will probably be a zombie when the apocolypse comes with that attitude.  ;)

I DVR'd the show last night but haven't watched yet.  I liked the Challenger R/T that the one guy used to escape from Atlanta...sweet car!

i like the series.I don't know why,but I do. With the sheriff and his partner,I think things are going to get.....complicated. I'm still wondering what has happened to the hillbilly, racist, redneck.

My guess is he'll be back, minus his right hand.

I watched all three episodes yesterday and its not bad, but way too graphic for my taste.  I actually had to change the channel a couple of times.  I'm surprised this doesn't have an R rating.

I watched all 3 hours last night.  It was pretty good, but I'm more into vampires, werewolves, and aliens.

Do you get BBC America? There's a British show called "Being Human" in which the basic premise is vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost share an apartment. I though it sounded quite hokey when I first heard of it, but there have been 2 season so far and I love it. I just saw SyFy channel advertise that they are going to start showing a remake/American version of it soon as one of their own "original" shows.

I think I'll just wait for the turbo coupe on the american top gear. That should be enough tv for me.

I hope that show is as good as it looks in the commercials.  I have a bad feeling they are going to demolish that poor TC though.  lol.

I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite show.  The guy in the latest episode shooting zombies with a crossbow was pretty sweet!

Well, I was excited to watch the season finale of The Walking Dead tonight but when I tuned in to AMC, I found that it wouldn't come in.  Turns out the Dish had me set up with AMC as a preview channel and today just happened to be the day they pulled it from me.  Grrrrr.

I called to complain and of course got someone I could barely understand...I want to know what happens!

AMC has had them on the next day, so they should have it up tomorrow on their site, or Hulu, or something like that.

AMC and Hulu only had the first episode available online and I don't even see that on there now.  Hopefully it's not too long of a wait for me until it goes to dvd.
