Well, I finally met my neighbor. I have owned this house since April, and I could never catch them home!
He was out in his garage. I wandered over there and introduced myself. He is a really nice guy. Turns out he's an old hot rodder! We talked cars for a while, and I helped him load a 318 mopar engine into a pickup that he was giving away. I noticed a set of aluminum slot mags up on a shelf, so I asked him what was up with those- he said they are old mopar rims. I asked him what he wanted for them. He said just take 'em! They have old bias-ply tires on them, two skinnies and two huge fatties.
I was hoping that they would fit my wife's Plymouth Fury, but they don't. Turns out they are a hard-to-find mopar 4-inch 5-lug bolt pattern (for Cudas, Demons, etc). They might be worth a couple bucks to somebody... Either way, how cool is that? Just introduce yourself, and walk away with gifts :)
Wish my neighbors were that cool.....
Sounds like you made a friend.
They are for the A-body mopars with the small bolt pattern. Think Duster, Dart, Demon. The standard "large" mopar pattern is 5 X 4.5
