Texture quality on top/drivers side and sun bleaching?

I'll grab some pics this after noon and post them here. The texture appears very nice,no bleaching that I saw.I'll double check everything again. Pics coming today around 4:00 or so.

I've been through three and the current one still has full texture but it's slightly more flat on the top left and a little grayish/bleached with a tiny cracking texture if you get within a few inches of it. Previous ones were much worse and I haven't found nicer yet, in person.

I'll get the best pics I can get to show the wheel as it really is.In my own opinion,it's one of the nicest I've seen in a very long time. Nicer than the one on the Sport right now.

I'll have one nicer than any other out there this week....lol.... NOS baby in the box.... egads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a realllllly nice one I was keeping, but I got hard up for coin a coupla months ago and had to move it...was pretty well mint, too.

That's what I get for slacking 5 friggin' minutes. It truly amazes me how much you can miss in such a short time.

I usually miss everything, story of my life day late and a dollar short, lol

 
This one has no graying.It does have the tiniest "cracking" on the top,but to be honest,I didn't notice it until it was a couple of inches from my face.No soft or flat spots.Very nice. I couldn't find the horn button,so,I lowered the price.When I find the button eventually,I'll send it to you,or whoever buys the wheel (assuming I find it....it couldn't have gone far in the garage).

OK.,no pics,sorry about that.BUT,it's missing one of the plastic tabs that snaps into the console.The other is well and intact. Other than the one missing tab,it's in excellent shape.

I've been neglecting coming here as I'm tires of the login issues - if I login, I have to then go to a subforum and then come back to the main screen in order for it to give me the complete forum list. Simply refreshing after logging it will kill the credentials.

I haven't gotten a picture yet as it has been pouring all week when I've been in the car, since I said I would take it. The dark skies (first storm of the season) make it impossible to get an in-focus picture. Don't want to dig out the SLR.

Enough of my excuses - I'll try to get it today :p Looking at it this week though, it's quite marbled with faded "gray" on the top/top left sides, including the front but the texture is still there (although less than the other side). Perhaps I SHOULD use the SLR as the flash might help bring out the imperfections quite a bit.

I'll try to get a better one of mine later this evening.

A couple of new items listed.Stuff needs to go. Buy it up. I'll do my best to work with you. The Sport needs funds,so,parts have to find a new place to live.

Vinnie, will the NOS power antenna work for an 83? Mine still works just thinking for a spare. Also any luck with the block off plates for the t/c hood scoops?

Dan,the block off plates should be done next week.Time has been hard to come by,and last week I was down with the flu.Hang tight.

So yeah - I got pictures but they all look like  (blur). I need to get my camera with a flash out there. I'm still interested in the steering wheel, along with a distributor boot. What are the SVO RRs about? I HATE my noisy Cobra RRs and want just about anything  else. Those would give me incentive to pull my upper intake and get the larger fuel injectors installed that I've been sitting on forever.

The SVO roller rockers are blue in color,solid,and very nice. In my opinion,better than the Cobras.They look like my Crane Golds,which I love,except the blue color. Crane made the SVO rockers for Ford. I'll try to remember to get the pic of the steering wheel after work today for you. Stay tuned.

you have distributor boots that fit an 88 v6?

Also you have any more of those EGR plates? I'm curious about those. I would like to see one.

The EGR plates are gone,but I could fab a few up. They are an aluminum plate that replaces the EGR on the spacer. As far as V-6 boots,I may have one. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I DO have the V-6 boot for the distributor. It also has the "FORD" logo embossed on it. Nice shape.I'll even clean it and make it prettier for you. Wanna do a partial trade for the valve covers/ I'll send the boot and some fundage?
