I stumbled across these today , this was my 84TC after I was t-boned by a driver who chose to ignore a stop sign one Sunday morning
He hit me so hard that the roof buckled ,other wise I might have tried to fix it .
I apologize for the quality , but I have no scanner
Ok, I'll say it again. I just commented about another car that washiznit in the exact same spot (and I almost got clocked on the way home yesterday). Why do fox cats/birds attract impacts in right behind the pass door?
I dunno , I never saw the guy coming , it was a 4 way intersection but only 2 stop signs. I had the right of way and I was going about 25-30mph and the next thing I knew I was facing the wrong way and my car was bent .
That sucks dude. Reminds me of what happened to my first 20th Cougar, except that's what the flare-side F-150 looked like after I T-boned him at 50MPH when he tried to cut me off and turn into a 7-11 gas station. Sad day it was. Looked like that was a nice TC.
The paint was faded but the car only had 68k on it when it washiznit ,the interior was flawless
I traded an 84 Z28 even for it at my buddy's car lot
Dont ask why I owned a Camaro because I'm not sure myself :rollin:
I'll be the first to man up and forgive you, sir. Even I fell to the dark side. But, sadly the dark side has taken better care of me than the home team :(
I owned an 86 Z28 and that was a fun ass car. I loved the huge nose. Hated the distributor in the back. It was a fishtailing burnout machine. :burnout:
My Z28 was a 305 4BBL automatic car and it was horribly slow .
It was however a nice car , I bought it from my then girlfriend's brother .
His ex had over heated it and cracked the heads , the mechanic who was supposed to be fixing it tried put on 69 350 heads on it and couldnt figure out how to make it run or bolt up all the accessories
Said mechanic then tried to buy the car for $600 saying "it's in worse shape than I thought it needs a whole new engine "
I offered the owner $700 to NOT sell it to the incompetent dude
I fixed it and drove it for about a year .
I have to admit It had a "Ford Motorsport" front plate on it while it was mine
Yikes!!!
BTW, Mine has been hit back there also~Just above the Rear wheel opening. Was like that since I got it, I still need to finish pounding it/pulling it out.
Nothing compared to those pics though. Geez.
I think at one time or another almost everyone of us has owned a camaro. Mine was an 82 Z28, T-tops and the anemic 305 auto. It dynoed at a blistering 156 RWHP. All it was good for was burnouts.:mullet:
Haha, I had a 79 camaro! 6 cylinder pos. It looked descent with deep dish crager ss's and a fake hood scoop. I paid $300 for it so I could dd it and retire my Bird from dd use.
Oooohh a Camaro thread. I have owned;
85 Z28 - 350 cam and heads car
87 IROC - 5.7 TPI - 14.5 @ 95 stock
01 Z28 vert - LS1 284 rwhp - 13.7 @101
Wife has had
95 V6
01 V6
87 IROC - 5.7 TPI
I actually had a 79 Berlinnetta (sp?) also
It was another 305 car .
Never owned a chevy. Dodge neon is the closest I have gotten.
Here's a couple pics of my beater I had. Not bad for $300. I kept it for a year then traded it for an 85 Bird.
Heh, successful hijack.
Heres the only remaining picture of mine. I eventually blew the trans (it had a huge front pump leak) and sold it for $500 to a guy I worked with. Last I heard, he had stripped it for paint and primered it and someone stole it out of his driveway. I really liked the color.

I digg the tiger skin seats man. Did it have an 8 track?
Hahaha! Actually I think it did. It actually came with those seat covers. Those alone where worth the $300 I paid for the car! LOL!!!!!!!
Dope..... : )
dodge is the dark side.. chevy is just an acceptable substitute when ford doesn't have what you're looking for.. like a decent small pickup.. rangercoughcough lol GM just offers a better small pickup platform in my opinion, i never cared for the ranger
