I recently got a new "smart" phone with all the bells and whistles. I wasn't necessarily wanting one, but my wife did and they had a buy one get one free sale so I got one also. My old phone didn't have a camera (yeah it mean old) so I now use the camera to take pics of the cars I see driving around. I don't drive much but live in a pretty nice part of town and have managed to capture some pretty neat cars. Here are some of the ones I have managed to catch within about a mile of my house.
Feel free to post pictures of cool cars you have seen driving around here.

Every pic I put on this site is from a cell phone. I don't even own a camera other than that. It does take great pictures though, 3 mp and the color is amazing. I always have to scale down my pictures when I put them on the site. Here's some I caught around my area. In full size glory. Most of these were moving, inside the car blurry pics, except for that beautiful shot of that red galaxie.
Cool 85 at AZ with headlight covers. Never seen that car again.

too bad it was dark when I got this pic of a really nice galaxie

passed this old cougar on a rollback one day. nasty rainy dark day.

and this beautiful galaxie. I still haven't seen this car again.

That Ford GT is pretty cool. I've never seen one in person.
I want that Cougar :D
So did I. So did I....
I saw a Ford GT once on the highway. My dad passed it in a minivan...:makefun:
Which I assume at least mean's he was DRIVING. Unlike the PASSENGER that saw it.......:flame:
I saw a ford gt on a ramp when I was driving the old neon. he was doing 25mph around it in the rain. When it got straight, I passed him when he merged left a lane, then when I went to look in the mirror to see it again it was gone. Was prolly doing 100mph, the wife who was watching it said he gave me a thumbs up. I'm not sure if thats good or bad, I was driving a neon. I can't believe how small and short a ford gt really is.
When I was in college at Purdue, the engineering students had some sort of "fair" where auto manufacturers brought some of their upcoming vehicles down and put on a show.
I saw a Ford GT before they really even came out. They are awesome vehicles. Even the interior is amazing.
I also saw a Dodge pickup with the Viper V10 and 6 spd before they hit the streets.
STACK!!!:rollin:
Have only seen this car once..

that bird is beautiful
seen what looked to be a 87 or 88 bird today passed him on the interstate, looked from the back it could of had a 5.0 had dual exhaust but idk. Pulled along side him checkin out the car and he looked at me like i was nutz so i kicked it into 3rd and rattled his brain a lil bit.
haha seems other bird owners are either just like us, or just don't quite get it sometimes...
I'm lead to believe they only see their Thunderbirds and Cougars as a means to get from A to B
Who, besides us, would invest $4,000 in a $2,500 car that the insurance company MIGHT give us $1,500 for should it get totaled?
yup lol its a sickness i tell ya xD
yeah but they're not ALL like that....
I have met a couple guys who love their cars as much as we do. My friends got 3 birds and a cougar in his front yard, granted they are mn12's but still. and I just met a guy the other day who has 2 87 turbo coupes.
Oh and I don't know what $2500 you're talking about buddy. Mine cost $500;) And its probably worth about $1500 since I got it and "improved" it a little....
Dealers man. Dealers..... you paid to much mr. scott. Course that doesnt' matter one way or the other since its been mysteriously abducted:rolleyes:
some silly people we are.. but we all know they'll be worth their weigh in copper some day lmao
Actually, I paid them $2,200. I think I got my money's worth :)
on that note... neither of my cars have comp or collision so actually I wouldn't get a dime....
oh n/m I forgot yours did have such low miles when you got it. I bought mine with 186k so I gues its fair
I got mine for $500 from my Aunt with 88K. The car was perfect except for the body molding turning yellow.
me either... But I got mine for $300 like 5 years ago, when I was 15, and got a free battery and starter with it. So I got a pretty good deal. I've since spent some money on it, exhaust, tune-up, brakes, tires/wheels, a couple of emissions things, but hey, that is part of owning a car, and no matter what I drive I would have to do similar things.
jeez I paid $1000 for my cougar and it was a pos. I got raped on that thing. But I love it now so it was worth it in the end:D
It's crazy how cheap you can get these cars for, i would tell how much i gave for mine but i rather not lol cause i stole it from the guy lol
Mine was Free. :hick:
i paid 250 for my sport with no heads and missing a couple things under the hood.. and 350 for my xr7 with a down right nasty motor under the hood.. the motor is the only reason i wanted the cougar lol
Not exactly driving around, I was at a gun show, still, I have never seen one of these in person and I thought it was super cool that it's actually still in service.

a couple of my buddies cars, sadly the yellow thing has sagged in the back end, little bit of rust there, he also got drunk one night and wrote "You cant kill a Legend" on the rear wing. he even autographed it. dont know if that was such a hot idea. haha. the red one on the end used to be mine, sadly a toyota ran a red light that night and totaled it.

There's a guy up here that has one of them and yes -- he actually drives it.
Wow, that notch is in nice shape! It's not still owned by the state of Florida is it?
My buddy who rents my house in Kansas has an 89 SSP that was a Texas highway patrol car but it has been repainted and the lightbar holes filled in. Still has the holes for the spotlights on the A pillar trim and a bunch of holes in the dash though. Here is a pic.
Yeah!!!! Thats what I'm saying! Its still an active patrol car! How cool is that?!?!
That's what I initially thought you meant but then I thought you might have just meant its still on the road. That is awesome.
You mean there is a SSP Fox Mustang still in active service in New York state?
No, it's a Florida car. Looks to be the twin of the one in the pic. He's gotten creative with removable decals so the local authorities don't give him a hard time when he drives it. The car is immaculate.
Here's one I saw roaming around when I was driving through Henderson, KY ...
I saw a Mystic Cobra at walmart today.

:rollin: CAR-MART LMAO I smell a lawsuit:giggle:
there is always some interesting cars at walfart
I saw one of the only two working TCs I've ever seen there.
I can't go to Wall Mart. The people in the store scare the hell out of me :mullet:.
http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/
I've seen that before :rollin:
Wish I had pictures of this 2006 snakeskin green ACR Viper I saw on the road. Thought it was a rice rocket coming up on me and low and behold.. Not so much. Passed me like I was sitting still while going 70 MPH. I DO have pictures of a Super Snake at walmart, and a Ford GT somewhere on my old phone.. gotta go diggin' for it, though.
This is a repair shop right down the street from my house. The owner also owns a exotic used car business. He leaves them all outside his repair shop to basically advertise them. Pretty clean SSR with a twin screw on it usually out front. The guy has a horrid reputation, and a mullet to top it all off.
