I have a bunch of parts to sell in order to get some money to get some more parts. All the parts are in good working order unless stated otherwise.
Fox body Tripminder - Excellent condition. I usually get these in pretty bad shape and have to dismantle them, polish the lens, replace broken buttons, clean button contacts. This one is in all original great shape. I did clean the button contacts to ensure easy button operation, but that's it. $50 shipped or $60 with custom made harness for plug and play with no wiring needed on your part.

Crown Vic/Grand Marquis Tripminder - Very nice shape with only minor wear showing. Again, I only had to clean the button contacts on this one. $40 shipped as is (you would need to reuse your clock brackets and wire it yourself) or $50 shipped with Fox brackets and custom wiring harness.

Auto dim rear view mirror - I was not able to get it to work but it is in excellent physical shape. I am 95% sure it came from a Fox (since that's pretty much all I buy) but I have had it in my inventory for probably about 10 years and can't be sure. Mirror doesn't have any weird discolorations or anything. $20 shipped

Also, just to show the condition of the tripminders, this is the shape I usually get Tripminders in:

This is what they look like when I am done. Not bad, but not as nice ans an original finish.

What is this "plug and play" harness? I didn't have the fuel wire at the center of the dash so I had to run it. Also, I currently use the bracket from the second one - the first are the fox brackets that would bolt in easier? Anything that would make mounting one easier in the future has got my interest as I'm in the dash often.
My 87 TC had the fuel and speed wire already in place on the car end on my wiring so I just pinned the clock harness accordingly. I have seen it in quite a few of the 85-88 cars (the cars that have the separate harness) with the wiring already in place. I can snap a few pictures of the harness I made for my TC if you like. Yeah, the first tripminder needs no modification to bolt in. The second one you either have to modify the brackets, drill new holes in dash, or use fox brackets. I usually epoxy fox brackets on my tripminders I convert. Let me know If you have anymore questions. I have messed with quite a few of them.

Edit - Here is a bit more info on what I am talking about. First, from what I have seen 83-84 cars have no separate harness for the clock. The clocks on these cars plug into the main car harness. 85-88 cars have a removable harness (first picture) about a foot long going from the clock to the main harness. In alot of the 85-88 cars I have seen the wiring is already in place for the Tripminder (second picture,) and sometimes they have wiring in place for the buttstuffog clock as well (like the harness in the first pic again - foam wrapped thing is the bulb socket.) Notice how in the second picture the car side of the connector (right side) has the green with white stripe wire (speed input) in place but nothing on the clock harness side. I just inserted a wire with the correct end piece into the connector on the clock side and ran that to the correct wire coming from the tripminder. The third picture again shows the wiring in place from the factory, this time in my 86 Cougar (with wiring harness from 86 XR7) that did not have a tripminder installed from factory. So basically, there are several possibilities in what wiring you will have and you may or may not have the correct wiring in place. If you don't have the wiring, as in your case, the correct wires could be tapped with minimal effort and pinned so the harnesses I make would still give a clean installation.

Console lid sold! Everything else still available.
Sale pending on fox tripminder.
Let me know if the tripminder does not sale for some reason, would like the mirror if it is still available.
I do have two Tripminders for sale. The other is a Crown Vic unit that can be converted to Fox brackets. If you do have to have a Fox unit, Vinnie has one for sale here http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=29605
I do still have the mirror available.
Welcome back people. I hope you used your time off to save up money to buy stuff!
Also may be interested in trades for a a stereo or 2.3 performance parts.
I sent you a pm before the forum died:hick:
Oh yeah, I thought I messaged you back but must not have with the board problems. The power recline trim is brown.
I'm looking at the manual seat track will it lower the seat height at all. I'm 6' 5" with a helmet at the track it a little uncomfortable
We will take the drivers side seat belt.
I was looking at the trip minder pic, ours does not have the decimal point.
Hey Bill, you bought that tripminder from me didn't you?
thewestie, I didn't notice a difference in height when I swapped one in on my car but I am only 5'9" so I probably can't tell. I still have a power seat track and can set them side by side and take a look if you want.
Sale pending on seat belt and EL lamps.
Nope never went through:D
Brown won't go with smoke gray though;)
man, you guys should have heard the F*** that came out of my mouth when you said the recline buttons were brown lol
I think my roomate woke up on that one.
How risky would painting them grey be?
With proper prep there should not be any issue at all .
I actually painted my brown ones black , my interior is gray but the contrast is nice .
I appreciate the information. I bought the tripminder from Vinnie; seemed easier than changing out the bracket. Just wanted to thank you for the referral.
Mr Bill, PM sent.
Edgar, your welcome. I'm sure Vinnie would do the same for me. You can have him thank me by giving me a big discount on that radio he is trying to sell me ;)
If I would have checked sooner it would have been in the Paypal notes section.
That would be great Thanks
Second tripminder and auto dimming mirror sold.
Thewestie, the tracks looked pretty much the same side by side although it was difficult to tell because my power track was tilted when removed. Here is a pic.
