Title: What Sprinng Booster Would you recomend
Post by: bigbada1 on October 14, 2010, 10:32:42 AM
OK so I installed my Mach 1 springs front and rear along with my strange 10 way adjustable and it lowered the car and I think that it looks great but I am also using a Mach 1 chin spoiler in the front and would like to raise the front about an inch the only thing that I can find from the local parts stores are a huge 2 inch donut spacer (this is not an option) or the rubber inserts that go in betweed the spring coils I really dont want to use the inserts due.Wouldn't these put more stress on the areas of the springs that they are wedged between? What I am really looking for is a simple donut type spacer to put under the spring that is only 1/2 in thick. 1/2 in thick would = 1 inch raised front end correct?

Here is a pic of how it is sitting now I am planning on raising the rear about an inch as well with my CHE adjustable loweres due to the fact I am rubbing the rear fender wells from time to time

I'll have a set of near new isolators that you are talking about this weekends when I swap back in my stock spring in my driver. They sit under the spring made of polyurathane

There's 1/2" spacers available, I can get the link if your interested. There not the same as the polly's that you put in.
Did you measure side to height when you swapped? I bet your lower on one side. I like how it sits, how much more adjustment do you have on the rear yet? I only have about a 1/4" left with my bullits, and about sitten like yours on the rear.

Yes I am interested in the link and I still have quite a bit of adjustment left in the rear but if i raise it another inch there wount be much adjustment left you might not be able to tell but I am also running a little bit lower profile tire in the front compared to the rear

The link is dead, I'm trying to find the part # in my files, so far I can't find that either, I thought I got them from steeda. Maybe "cougar5.0" will see this,he gave me the info a while back. There just steel washer looking things.

I did find this but there pricey. I have 1/4 " spacers, in theory it's a 1/2  raise. Soon I will know. I'm still Not sure if I want the machs in the front.
