Title: 87 Thunderbird for sale.
Post by: nutwagon on October 06, 2010, 01:39:17 PM
My name is Sam. I have an 87 ThunderBird I have to get rid of.
My price is $350
It`s a 87 sport body and all the sport options except the sunroof.
The car is in pieces, but it has every thing except the hard top headliner. The interior is red and was restored. Theres a crack engine block, I dont have the money to put into it to fix it and I have to get rid of it fast. Has extra parts and power pulleys and exhaust, and more. Must be picked up locally and cash only.

I`m located in St. Peter Missouri, 663376
Number is 636 426-0066, ask for Sam:deal:

I can understand wanting it to go as a package, but if you decide to part it out, I'd be very interested in taillights and headlights, possibly the hood if it could ship via Greyhound.

, not too far away, but right now I'm cash-starved..if you still have it whole in mid-November....I'll be very interested. That's too nice to part out.
I'm about 3 hours away, and if I had the money, it'd be off your hands on Saturday. :D

Edit, you sure that's not an '88? Has the door panels from an '88, I believe..

I`m debating parting it out at the moment. some drivetrain parts steering sytem and brake parts I might strip down to build a hot rod I have.
The bird has 96 cobra aftermarket spring I left out.
I was going to run it in the scca before it blew the motor. I really dont want to see the death of this car. I wanna see it revived.
Had it ince I was 18 and now 26.
ppl know this car from cardomain. Here`s the link my brother made when I gave it to him. I cant access the account and looks like somebody named hijacked it and taking all the credit.
I just found that out and I`m pissed!

if you part it out or sell it to someone who's going to part it out, that would be a crying shame.. that car is WAY too beautiful to be sent to the crusher

To set the record straight, I save every saveable car I can and the ones that are too rotted or have title issues get parted out, I have bought 14 cars this year and saved 6 of them. How many have you saved?  I just finished and delivered an 86 TC to a customer in Indiana. My daily driver is an 86 Bird, my hot rod is an 88TC and my show car is an 86 TC. Please get the facts before judging,

i'm just busting balls.. i know no one in their right mind would buy this car and send it to the crusher.. whoever buys it will be extremely pleased i'm sure.. if my truck was in 1 piece, i would have been out the door this morning when i saw it

Sorry I bounced way off into wierdo topic.
The title has issues.
I call it an 87 cause it`s a reincarnated body shell switched from the 88 after completion there was no hope for a title, and we picked up an 87 sport and swapped everything.

well, that title issue can be resolved with the proper paper work at dmv.  First off, property tax issues can be the part that compilcates things.

hey i`m up for selling it whole. I am between parting it  out and selling it at the moment. a guy wants the hood and tail lights.  I also forgot to say I had an H.O. cam i never put in and it has 96  cobra upgrade springs. My brother said they are between 500-600 pounds  per inch.
It used to out run 05 mustang gt`s with pure torque and handling.  Ignition timing we tued by ear and it gain a good 15 or more hp. and  around 300 ftlbs torque.

Sorry man, afraid I'm gonna have to pass on this one...too much power for me if it easily outruns '05 GT's...
