... and got to play with a chainsaw for the first time! :) I can see why these things are the preferred weapon in horror movies.
There was a real bad storm in Wichita last week and it brought down about half of one of our real big trees in the back yard so we drove down to clean it up. We also had some shingles blow off and hail punch holes in our siding. It took about 4 hours to bring the remainder of the branch down and cut it up. Thankfully, the city is driving around town picking up branches on the curb. Hopefully our pile isn't too big.

Build a small cabin.LOL.
I like the USAF hat. I need to get a new one.At times,I miss being a Crew Chief on the old KC-135's.
AF ftw!
I didn't do any real service but I did do 4 years of AFJROTC. I was gonna join up but then I went and got married:punchballs:
Wish I was a little closer....that's *just* a locust, but it'll burn next winter ;)
Chainsaws are just tools to me...although some people can do some pretty artsy stuff with them.
I've got a coupla junk Homelites, and a Stihl that'll cut trees up as long as you feel like holding it...it's an MS310, 16" bar, and an all around bad mother f*cker.
I've probably cut up 10 tons of wood with it in the last coupla years.
I'd go to an 18" bar, but it's about too heavy for me now.
Anywho...glad ya like chainsaws lol
:D Was that what that dude (Ed Gein) in Texas said waaay back in the 50s???
(((Texas Chainsaw Massacre)))
Holy cow, my name is Ed! Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not...
It was a good trip, but I am back home now. I got lucky and it was the weekend of the air show so I went to that (pics following in another thread once I sort them out.) I did see a few cool cars on the trip. There are way more fox body cars in Kansas than here. I didn't get any pics of them though. We did get a pic of one of those new AMG SLSs and we stopped at a badass gas station/truck stop in Endee, NM with a car museum in it. Mainly old 50s cars but they did have a Hennessey twin turbo SRT8 Challender and a Shelby Super Snake.

Yeah I was gona tell him don't buy one. There are 6 chain saws here at the farm and they are tools. I am to the point I'm tired of using them.
I needed stitches from an incident with a butter knife ... I'm going to steer clear of the chain saws :mullet:
shiznit. If you like using chainsaws that much, on my farm in Bucks County Pennsylvania I have 97 acres of woods littered with old, dead and problem trees. Come on out - you can cut wood till your little heart's content.
