Hey guys, haven't had my Bird long. In fact I just finished painting it grabber orange with black style boss stripes (not even back from being striped). Had a chance to buy my Father's 66 Mustang (California black plate) back from the person he sold it to back in 1968. Needless to say, I had to buy it. Well, not much room here so something has to go. The Mustang has a 200 straight 6 with a cracked head so I'm taking the engine and trans from the Bird to put in it. Bird has a 2.5" cowl hood, weld drag lite 4 lugs, like new BFG tires, no rust at all on the body, amateur paint job (doesn't look bad at all, but not "body shop"). 7.5 rear with a motorsport 3:73 Tracloc. Most of my $ was in the drive train so I will look at all offers, just want someone to finish what I thought might be a permanent fixture in my garage. Car is still dis-assembled from being painted.

you know the drill..... ;)
Yeah I know the drill. I guess I posted a little too soon. Bird isn't even back from being striped. Sorry guys, didn't think I'd get such a response. As soon as it's done, I'll post pics.
oohhhh...grabber orange with black stripes???? Even close enough for me to pick up. Waiting for pics also...
How much are you trying to get? Also would you be interested in selling the carb off the 6? My bro-in-law might be interested.
Not sure on price. As far as the carb on the 6cyl, it's missing from the head up.
Wow thats nice :)
Thanks, I'm really torn on getting rid of it.
Hard to sell something without a price tag. :D
Very true . How about $1200 or a real nice set of rims and tires for my 5 lug 66 Mustang ?
whoa.. that's bright hahah  trying to replicate the boss stripe? looks sweet
Did the engine bay get done also?
Nope, taped off. Was going to pull the engine and do it this winter.
Beautiful. Wish it was in Canada.
Not that far, come get it !!!
