Not exactly NOS , they are new aftermarket... I have a set on my car , pretty good quality :D

ehh... my bad. I guess so little stuff is made aftermarket for us that when I see something is "new" I automatically assume NOS

Yes,they are metal...the handle and the base that bolts (or rivets) to the door with a plastic shield that goes between the handle and the car.Mine came with rivets,but I use bolts.Took about 30 minutes to swap them both (the old ones were bolt on replacements from years ago).Made a huge difference.

I was parked next to our crown vic yesterday, the chrome and illuminated entry lock looks the exact same.
