Actually, aside from shooting in Camera Raw, and quality image processing, these are for the most part, unedited or photoshopped. I try to do as much in the camera as possible.....im just  a old school purist i guess...

wow really nice, Guys I work with are into photography I have to share these with them.  What body and lenses did you use to get these results?

I generally use the Nikon D300 and D700 with the 17-55 2.8 and older series 80-200 2.8 lenses.

amazing.... I am hoping to get a really good camera soon... I hope I can do half as well as you do.

Those 2.8 lenses are killer... I've using a D90 w/ the 18-105 kit lense and I'm happy with it so far.  I want to take a couple classes this Fall and learn more about it cause its really fun to get great shots and right now only about 25% of my shots are good to where I'm happy with them.

Dave, I have got to say your pictures are so nice they actually make the thought of marriage less repulsive for me while looking at them

hopefully in the spring we can get together and get a little photshoot going on like we were talking about before.. hopefully the capri and 1 of the birds will be done by then ;)

Thanks for the kind words.......and marriage is a good thing, i have 13 years in and wouldnt trade any of it.....

as usual, amazing shots david! i really like the 1 with the jim beam bottle.. gives it that 'old time photo' look
