does anybody know how offset rims have to be with 17x10 rims in the back? ive found 24mm and 25mm. i know its not a big change but i want to run the widest tires i can outback.
like 315/35/17
My 17'10's out back have a 25mm offset.I have 275 40 17's on them, and may go wider on the next set of tires.
is there enough room for 315's do you think?
Check out this thread...I hope it's on the page I want, but if not, go to the third page. There's someone's pic of a 'Bird with 315's stuffed in the wheelwells... http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=15130&highlight=315+tires&page=3
thank you for that. i guess im not going with the 315's after what they said. i was going to put nitto 555 on it but i guess their 315's are barely wider then 275's... cant find any street tires from 285-315 besides the nitto 315's.
i also just read on a mustang forum that nitto 315's fit on 9inch wide tires! im probably going to go with that

I think that 315's will fit fine with the quads being gone.I still have room in there. The white car in the link has 5 lug rims, and,I'd have to question the offset of those as opposed to the 4 lug rims.
Sweet!:D
do turbocoupe have quad shocks?
Ask thundr306 he had 305 or 315 on the rear of his TC
Nittos are known to run narrow.
Sumitomo makes a street tire in the size you mentioned.....

$128 for a tire of that size isn't half bad either...
I don't know it it's possible to fit on a fox, but Toyo makes a 345/40-17.....
Yep. Turbo Coupes have the quad shocks.
