Title: TC brake upgrade
Post by: 86caprirs on August 21, 2010, 09:10:41 PM
So I swapped the TC front brakes into my 88 Sport today. I used the TC brake hoses from the caliper to the hard line. I picked up the 1/4 to 3/8 adapers. The drivers side needed the adapter but the passenger side did not. The caliper hose bolted onto the hard line with no issues.

Was this the same for you guys?

No, I needed the adapters for both sides on mine.
There seems to be a little hit-and-miss on these, some say they needed them, others didn't.

How do you like the better brakes, or have you driven it yet since the install?

Yeah No kidding. Thanks 88turbo. But My car is faster than your so I am not worried....LOL.  2.3L's , Thats 1 and a bit of a double big gulp at 7/11. JK

Yeah I was shocked. I don't know if that means it has a bigger line on the drivers side for some reason. Now I am wondering if the TC rear will just bolt in and the hard line to the TC flex hose will bolt up?
