I spotted these cars wearing manufacturer's plates and camo a few days ago. I'm sure its a common site around Detroit, but I have never seen them and thought it was cool so I figured I would share.
I 'm pretty sure they are Dodge products because that's what the rest of cars in their caravan were.

Must have been Dodge, driver may need a lift back if it conks out...
Look to be some boring SUV/mini-van/crossover POS and some kind of sweet looking sedan. They have to be due for a new Charger any time...wonder if that is what you have spied?
could have just been some "tuner" cars done up to look like pre production prototypes... wouldnt that be awful if people did that :hick:
I could wrap my rusty old cougar up like that and make people think there is something nice hiding under there...
Those pics are cool, but like you said, I used to see stuff like that all over Detroit and NW Ohio. Years ago we saw a prototype Beretta at a truckstop on it's way back to MI with a manufacturer plate on it and when we asked the driver about it he shyly said, "Yeah, it's a Chevy" and quickly jumped in and drove off. It is cool when you run across "spy cars" out in traffic though!! thanks for the pics!!!
Later, RAY
In early '04, I remember cruising on the interstate, in MI, and the prototype '05 Mustang was toying around the big truck. It was pretty cool to see it.
New Durango I believe!
