Any idea what it is? I know you've got a V-6 MN-12, too and thought you might know ...
Looks like a factory wing to me.
Sshhhhhhhh ...don't tell anyone, just yet ;)
woah I never even saw this thread :rollin:
I've got a couple of those up in the garage. They were on a LOT of those Birds.
got a red one? with a light?
Exact same part on my '97 Cougar. It's actually a Ford of Australia part...IIRC it even says "Australia" molded into the CHMSL lens. (Don't quote me on this...I'm not at home right now and don't have it handy to look at! ;) )
Actually,I might have one.I'll check in a little while.
and speakin of 'underbird, I'm just curious Scott. No offense dude, but I don't think I get the name. Is it like "oonderbird" or just thunderbird without the "th"?
It always reminded me of where I park when I'm out in public ---- 'cause it seems like when I come back to my car, it's always been "under a bird."
It's Under-bird, like an underdog, the one that nobody expects to win, but comes out on top.
I stole the idea from the late Alan Kulwicki ....
And my avatar is what Alan replaced the T H with during the '92 Atlanta fall race.
I always wished my 95 had one. I really like spoilers, I even put one on my Fusion. Of course with it you can't see the end of the trunk without it so it made it very hard to judge.
It reminds me of trying to say it with a German accent.
thats what I thought- the ' makes it kinda look like "oo"nderbird
but i see now. how very clever.
My wife's German and she says it fine, I reckon. What is awesome is when the German females I know say Cougar ...it's like Cue-gar, not like we might say Coo-ger
