Title: Turbo-Coupe cooling fans in V8 Cougar?
Post by: black ct on May 04, 2005, 04:25:32 AM
I have an '88 turbo-coupe that I'm stripping and was wondering if the electric cooling fans would work with my 5.0 in my '87 XR7.  Will they even fit?  If not they are going with the rest of the car on Saturday. :canada:

I'm going to venture a guess and say no.  I'm pretty sure this has been brought up before and it has been decided that the fans won't fit without extensive modification.

There's some discussion in this thread, seems they won't fit in a tbird, no reason why the would fit in a cougar any better.

But a electric fan from a taurus/continental with the 3.8 fits great. :D

Thanks guys.  And no, this car had a manual passenger seat.
