Its a little less than 2 hrs away. I actually have the money for it for once too and.....

Called to see if the guy would take 250 for it, and he actually just sold it for 250.

Raise your hand if you love it when that happens!!!

Back in the day, about a week before I found my '86 I had found a '69 Torino GT that had a fresh 390 and transmission in it. 2500$ is what they wanted for it. They guy gave me some story about, "you better buy it before Wedensday, I've got somebody coming to buy it then." I, honestly didn't believe him. When Friday came, I cruised by, it was gone :(

geeze...that's sad enough to make a man cry.

This does bring hope for me though, because 200-400 is about all I have to spare right now, and that's the first one I've seen near my area for that price. I'd love to find a pre-87 5.0 cougar for that cheap and I think if I'm vigilant enough, I may find one. We'll see.
