since I have the 83 home and I have an extra TC hood I would like to put the two together. I remember reading a while back about having to do some modification to make the hood fit, can someone clear this up for me and let me know what needs to be done? I tried searching but came up empty.
It doesn't just swap ? Aren't all the hoods the same from 83-88?
Measure the hinge bolts, they may be a different spacing. :D

Shouldn't take any mods to get this to work. I used to have an 88TC hood on my 84.No mods at all. Unbolted the stock 84 hood bolted the 88TC hood right on. I guess I could say that they are both TC's

here is where she sits now :D the hood is NOT a direct swap I am going to have to drill the bottom holes for the hood so it is bolted on properly. but the hood fits nicely otherwise
