I have a 20th anniversary Cougar that needs a motor and a paint job that I cannot afford to fix. It does have a transmission, however. If selling it as is, how much should I ask for it?
Wow, that's a tough one. In this case, a picture (or many pictures) are worth a thousand words. The car could worth be a few hundred or a few thousand, depending on the condition of the interior, exterior, etc.
Buy an 86-88 for cheap and just throw in the engine and save up for a new paint job, or better yet, find a mustang 5.0 if your not too worried about how original the car is.
Depends on how many miles? Is it rusted out or not? Dents, cracks in the dash, seat condition? Could be $500 or could be $1500
I would guess start at $700 and take the first offer that is around $500.
There is a 20th anny about 15 miles from me that needs a paint job but otherwise is in pretty good shape, the owner of that one is asking $900
Where is this? Depending on where in the country you are has a lot to do with the price of cars.
