Title: GILF Getter
Post by: DVP on June 26, 2010, 11:42:17 PM
Somehow I ended up with an orange SHO...

And this is how I started off my Saturday.

With my past 2 cars Im sure you have an idea of where this is heading...

About a month ago I drove a '95 track SHO. Cammed, gutted, blah blah blah, I wanted one. So some wheelin' and dealin' went down around the St Louis SHO group and I ended up with this

Decent DD car. Not a thing wrong other than an exhaust leak. After Friday afternoon and all day today I now have this

Has a little bit of a ride height issue in the rear now. Soon to be taken care of though. Plus once I get tires on my black wheels it should look a whole lot better.

Recovering some MOMO seats for it, swapping in crank front windows, rear door and 1/4 windows will be lexan, still a whole lot left to do but you gotta start somewhere.

Once I get it plated Im sending off for my personalized plates, GLF GTR:rollin:

Exactly. They were there when the car was bought from the city. I have a DynoMax ler off one of the TCs I cut up that will go on it. Single exhaust, less weight.

Close. Its a Taurus, a Grandma car. Its a bright shiny color. Old ladies like bright shiny cars.

Its MILF only for Grandmas, so GILF. :rollin: My sense of humor is a little twisted to say the least.

No. I gained a car. Like I needed that. :punchballs:

Have the Cougar, Plus, and the Orange 91. Plus is the DD, and the Cougar and 91 are the projects. Cougar just keeps getting pushed back on the agenda.

Certified Automated Truck Scale.

2980lbs. No driver, 1/4 tank, 17" full spare and floor jack.

I want to get down to 2800 but we will see if that happens. Honestly was just a little disappointed.
