I really hope it doesn't disappoint. The promos for it haven't yet impressed me.

Did you see the first episode of American Dad a while back? That didn't impress me either.

No, I wasn't particularly impressed with American Dad either. I mean, WTF is up with the gay alien???? I think AD was created as a replacement for FG before FG was ressurected - at least that's certainly what it seems like...

I'm crossing my fingers for Family Guy - one good thing is that the original voice cast was retained...

The alien was more annoying than funny. Something about that voice...

Nice acronyms! :D

I just hope the bringing back of family guy does not take away from his involvement in Robot Chicken, a program that is on Cartoon network at 11:30 every sunday. I was never totally impressed with Family guy in the first place.

That's because a vast majority of the voices are/were done by Seth McFarland, the creator.

I thought that robot chicken was Seth Green's project.  I didn't know that McFarland was overly involved (I know he did a few voices on there)...  Robot Chicken is probably the best thing on CN right now.  I just wish it lasted longer than 15 minutes.

I've never seen Robot Chicken (We don't get Cartoon Network here in the land of moose, beavers and igloos), but I have seen commercials for it where some old lady was repeatedly beaten over the head with a frying pan - I was immediately intrigued. I hope our Teletoon picks it up someday...

You have to see it, plain and simple.  It's not for anyone who's PC.  Pretty offensive if you're offended easily.  Don't ever let a feminist watch it, there's some clips involving violence against women, which is kind of humorous if not taken seriously.  Which reminds of a couple funny videos...  I'll have a thread up shortly

Well, it did NOT disappoint.
I especially liked the Blues Brothers spoof.
Very nice.

Yes, it was well worth the wait :D

I knew it was off to a good start as soon as Peter started listing all the failed Fox shows :D

Now let's give American Dad a chance...

I did...for about 2 minutes. Took only that long to realize it's a flaming turd.  :flame:

Family Guy rocked though...Seth still got it.

Ya, American Dad sucked - too derivative and not at all funny. I predict it will go the way of Greg the Bunny...

I have to disagree with you there, holmes.
The Simpsons is simply the best. All else is poo.
