Title: installing new clutch this week!
Post by: SR71blackbird on June 15, 2010, 05:12:07 AM
I just got my new spec Stage 3 clutch in so i'll be swapping it hopefully this week. Ive read how to swap it out, im just wondering if there are any tips or advice to swapping it to make it easier or safer for the parts. Anything will help. Oh and is there is an easy way to reach all the bellhousing bolts would be cool too.

For reaching the bolts, lower the motor down in the back, and use a long ext. for the top ones. That's if your taking an auto out. If you take a t5 trans off first, getting to the bolts is easy.

I think that clutch will drive you nuts if you drive the car daily....it's an awful lot of clutch for what you have done.

Good luck,
Don
