Well I am a big gamer and i am afraid to say that the engine will have to wait because i got RRoD lately, but the good news is a new xbox is out of microsofts bag of goodies....

Not the kinect, it wont be released yet, but the xbox itself was shipped out today.... ill probably get one later this week.... i cant wait... 250 GB, built in wi-fi, and its all for the same price as the new (well old now) ones being sold.

haha well I just got off the phone with the machine shop about the old heads, there werent any cracks but it needs a valve job... the total price would be 400 bucks.... Im glad they called me before they started on them, lol. Also, check out the engine part of the forums i started a thread with an idea.. :hick:
Save up another $600 and buy new heads instead. $400 is alot for stock heads.
Yep, i'd rather get ahold of some gt-40p heads for that kind of money.
You can get the "P" heads a lot cheaper than $400.00. Shop around.People sell them cheap although they are a better head overall than the GT40 heads.It's the plug angle and header issue that freaks everyone out.

Here in a few weeks, I'm going to a coupla yards in search of GT40 heads...one place sells heads for 75 each....don't spend the 400 for stockers...hell no.
If you want, I can grab you a set, but I'd need my money back pretty shortly afterwards. My mom lives over south of cassville...I plan to visit her by august...maybe if it all works, I could bring 'em down for you...save shipping and gas...i wouldn't charge you a penny since I'd be down that way anyhow..and I want to go to Forsythe to sight-see...

yeah, you should have put the money into your car. Ive only done alittle reading on the new xbox and the main thing is its smalled and quiter but unless you live in a house with a horder im sure you can spare the extra room and the quit side, whenever i play MW2 or forza 3, i never hear my 360 because im too focused on the game. Look into getting the edelbrock E street heads. They are $400 for a brand new aluminum head and even closer if you sell your old 360. That why its just a direct swap without header change. But if your on a budget take Vinnies advice and get the GT-40P heads and get instructions how to make headers that fit and have someone fix it up for you.
Lol well idk. Definately not getting the xbox.... Some dumb happened today.... Soooo I will be getting new headers instead of rebuilding them.
The BBK unequal length headers fit the "P" heads just fine,but you need 90 degree plug boots.Other than that,no mods,all is well.I read a short while back that the "P" heads are the best small block cast iron heads Ford ever produced,but,as i stated,people are scared of them.
Don't see why, I'll Check eBay for some that won't need any work done to them.
I'm much more excited for the 3DS and the slew of games coming with it. Starfox, Paper Mario, Street Fighter IV, Mario Kart, even Chocobo Racing!
The new Zelda game for the Wii is a must as well.
The 360 didn't appeal to me that much when I had it. There were some good games, like Fable 2 or Oblivion, but all the FPSs just aren't that great. I ended up selling the thing to help my car :P

Not sure, but that looks like a picture of the xbox releasing with the Natal project, which has since been renamed, kinect.
They aren't being released at the same time.... Kinect isn't being released until like November fourth.
