They are getting more rare every week it seems.I only see one Thunderbird in town other than my Sport, and it's an '86.I never see any Cougars. They should be on the endangered list.
I see them all the time around here , but I can never get my camera phone out quick enough . I think I'll start carrying my mini digital camera around :D
heres anouther one this one was in a guys barn he wont sell it its an lx with a 5.0 in it

one more

They have pretty much rusted away out here. I rarely even see them in the yards anymore. Then again the newest ones are 22 years old....
that cougar is one of only 5 that i have seen here in southern Ohio. the t-birds i've seen about 20 to 25 of them. ofcourse when i did that where the members are from thread the cougars were the rarest of the 2
I've seen tons in the Local Junkyard. :punchballs:
Really only seen 2 T-Birds and a 1 Fox Cougar on the road (More than once).
I see a handful of '87-'97 Cougars in northeast Arkansas ---- but not many of the Thunderbirds.
Maybe the cats chased the birds away. :D :D :D
If there are any left around here they are being drivin by rednecks and have one foot in the grave.
here in pa ive seen 2 tc's like mine and one 86 cougar. So there very hard to find. And none in the yards here.
There is one here that never gets driven and is rusting a bit - another white TC, only an 87 or 88. There is also a black 87 or 88 TC running around town here sometimes though it doesn't seem like anything at all is done to it either and could use a paint job (as well as mine..). I'm the only 4-eyed bird I've seen locally.
Just spotted these this evenning at the Video Store across from our Carshow and snapped a pic of them.

D & P ;)
I think there are 6 here excluding my 3 TC's I have the only TC's in this town
There's probably still about 20 fox cougar/birds around my town. But I am a delivery person on and off, so I see what lurks all the way up people's driveways, heh.
there was a guy around here that had 4 or 5 87/88 tc's and who knows how much parts for them. i got his # called him and he said he gave everything away to some guy wanting s metal. wish my abs sensor went out about a month sooner then it did:punchballs:
I think I'm gonna have nightmares.. :wtf: That's painful to think about. Makes me wanna check with the owner of this 87/88 TC that is rusting and just sitting in place if I can just "have" it too. :D
Wow that is what my car looked liked when I bought it.
The only thing wrong with that car was a small dent the size of a dime on the passenger side c-pillar. i didnt see any rust at all.
This was mine when I was 18, and before she ever had any body damage (the dent and busted bumper guard in the front, someone cut in front of me and slammed their brakes on me in Florida - Miatas stop a lot faster than us for sure..). She looked good! I got her with a messed up clutch and learned to drive in her. She had about 155,000 miles when I got her but you'd never have guessed:

I feel so lucky everytime I see that car outside knowing that I happened to end up with it when I was actually looking for a pick up truck. Friend of my dad's drove it here one day and said it was for sale. Got it that day. :D
