Title: 1988 2.3L Mustang coupe for $250
Post by: 32VFoxBird on May 13, 2010, 06:48:15 PM
Got a friend who wants to get rid of this car. Red on red. Automatic. Little rough on the pass side 1/4 panel, but has 16" pony wheels and runs.

Worth picking up?

Score it, its worth it in parts/s, or to someone who wants to do a V8 conversion.

In the Northwest coupes are very hard to fine, plus I would think that any car that runs is worth $250?  The Coupe are light and a favorite for making race cars out of.

But they don't compare to the quality of the T-bird/Cougar.

If you were closer I would buy it off you if you wanted to make some profit but Im way up here in NC.

Buy it for $250, Throw it on craigslist for $500 and I promise it will sell within a week. Coupe's with a good clean title will sell quick.

To put it in perspective I just bought this as a parts car.  Runs, drives and with a door and windshield will pass PA inspection.  Too bad it was whacked in the passengers 1/4 and mudded up.  Paid $250 for it.

Just got it home. Luckily I had the wife following me. I had my sons with me chillin' in the AC, then it started overheating. Stopped at a stop sign, then the everything turned off. Too dark to try and diagnose it, so we pulled it home. I'll have pics tomorrow.
