Title: Fog Lights for Sport Coupe
Post by: Dan B. on May 12, 2010, 08:50:35 PM
My '88 Sport does not have the fog lights.  What are you folks using for a factory replacement light?  I'd like to wire them in with the parking light switch.....your thoughts?

Thats what I am doing now with the turbo coupe upper and lower nose on my sport. I am using the factory fog lights though. And I am using the factory fog lamp switch. Run it through relays and your golden.

I have Pilot PL-220's installed. They fit the air dam pretty well, though mounting is a little tricky. I've been idly wondering if '92-ish Taurus SHO fog lights would fit, but I've never had a chance to measure them. That said, the Pilot's don't put out squat for light with the stock H3 bulbs, or even with Silverstars. I had to go up to 35W HID's (from retro-solutions) to get decent light output. There's a thread somewhere on these forums where I described my fog light adventures.

On my Sport I installed the Turbo Coupe bumper cover and NOS factory Hella fog lights.
