One of the things I read on ffcobra.com was that a N. Korean suicide sub blew itself up under the thing. That Obama was trying to decide to arm oil rigs with low-mass nukes, and the N Korea was making plans to attack us with their Redong nukes next...
On a more serious note, I heard that a valve has failed, and won't operate to shut off the massive oil leak.
Didn't mean to come off as political, I merely stated the first paragraph for it's absolute absurdity.

I think this is more serious than most realize at the moment. If they don't get this capped before hurricane season, this could be the worst man-made disaster ever.
Agreed, and no matter what happens, be ready for $4 a gallon plus again soon....
Hurricanes need moisture from the ocean to make them go. It was said on the radio this morning with the oil laying on the water, hurricanes might not get the moisture they need. But we'll see.
I think gas would have gone up to $4.00 before the end of the summer anyway. I just feel bad for all of the helpless animals that will be harmed. It is a shame that things like this happen. I hope they can get it contained soon.
This probably is not the last one to fail!
