Title: Wiring diagrams?
Post by: Whiteboy on April 18, 2010, 12:52:55 AM
Ok so when i got this engine, it had alot of stray wires that led to no where on both ends, but i kept them all in case. now that its apart i went to the speed shop to see how much itd cost for a full gasket replacement and compression test, for the assembly, gasket renewal, and compression/fluid test, to make sure it ran fine, it will cost me 500 bucks!!!! I am gunna do everything myself except for the compression test, my question is if there is any diagrams to show where the wires go for anything/everything around the engine...

What did the motor come out of, and what are you putting it in?

If your car has a 302 in it already, you just use your factory wiring. No need to figure what the wires on the HO motor are for.

Yes. Only the firing order is different. You'll need to reroute your plug wires. That's it. Read up on coolcats.net for info.
