I do like the vinyl top with the cutout for the entire quarter window though.
:barf:
A friend of mine in high school drove one of those. Same color. No "continental kit" rear-bumper tire though.
Oh dear
Wow. Just wow. Typically, trying to make a car into something it's not, ends badly. This is a perfect example. It was a cool car to begin with, but now.... wow. Just wow.

Aside from the wheel arch molding I don't think it's all that bad ;)
based just soley on what you said,, i agree 100%.
overall , there is just too much that screams 80's prom car:toilet:
OMG!! This looks like something they'd come up with on "Pimp my ride" or something!! ;-(
take off the continental kit and it would be fine :)
that rear kit is like NASTY :p
Yeah thing is every time we see one with a vinyl top its got that straight edge that just....ends right before the B pillar and so ya got a straight edge and at the bottom a curve out of nowhere and I've wondered what this would look like. Now I know!!!
I'd almost like to see an 87-88 tbird with a dark vinyl roof a-la 1970-72 monte carlo...? :o:flame:
I think I could live with it on a Cougar...but a TBird???
Just saw this car last weekend.:yuck:
double NASTY for the bird :P:P:P
You shut your mouth. :beatyoass:
That reminds me of the the white Caddy Eldorado in the opening scene of the James Bond film "Live or Let Die".
That Cougar had to have been modified by a customizer stuck in the 70's.:D
Yeah...just a little too much there...I think they should rename it "ian" instead...
Not to change the topic away from an "interestingly" modified Cougar ---- but has anyone else ever noticed how ALL the vehicles in that opening scene (in "Live or Let Die") are GMs (Impala, Caprice, Cadillac)?
It definitely falls into the "to each his own" category.
