i was in a junk yard and was looking at an old ford ecnoline pick up. and i saw the straight 6 in there and thought the truck wasn't heavy and if i build up a 2.3 turbo engine and shove her in there. that would be a fast and a reliable truck. and also very costume right, ima do it lol
man, ya got to love the econoline vans. ive got a 85 econoline conversion van. h.o. 351. great for camping and hauling! hope you have as much fun with yours as i have with mine!
Trucks aren't heavy?
I'll bet it weighs more than your TC by a good margin.
Change your clutch first, get the TC's wiring sorted out before taking on another project.
I don't know, one of these little buggers might be pretty light.:burnout:
Probaly scream with a 5.0.:D
Must be a PITA to set up a good drag suspension on them.....Looks to be 80% nose-heavy...
Looks like it would be fun though....lol.:D
i plan to finish my tc. not an option of mine to quit. lol it will be my 2 project car\truck lol
Just don't put the bird to rest without having another one to drive in the mean time. I'm missing mine so bad I have to get a different motor in it soon and just drive it. Anyone wanna help?
the bird is going to be my daily driver, pretty quick dd. i want to get the wiring figured, its bugging the out of me tho, any help with that would be welcomed.
my friends got one of them turbo dodge vans with a 5speed, that caravan gets up and goes, with a smaller motor and turbo. i bet if you do it right it will be quick
