My car is still in the shop, so I'm pulling this from memory.

To set anything, first press "set" then press what you want to set. For example, to set the clock, press "set" then press "time".

To reset anything, first press "reset" then press what you want to reset. So to reset the gallons used, for example, press "reset" then press "fuel" when it's showing the gallons used display.

The buttons at the bottom tend to have multiple displays. Pressing any of them will toggle through them.

I agree.

Watchdevil....thanks for posting the instructions.I appreciate that. I'll set it all up after work and report on it.That's a lot of stuff for such a small little box.LOL. I'll also try to find my owner's manual as a back up.Thanks again.

Yup, it's a really innovative piece of equipment, especially for 1984. It's also really useful with our notoriously inaccurate buttstuffog gas gauges.

Mines notoriously optimistic... I usually put at least two gallons more in than what it says I used.
