I just came across this photo and posted it in another thread but it got me to wondering how many people have 'vintage' photos of our cars?

Vintage meaning taken in the day... of course photos of cars sitting on a dealership lot would be great but that might be asking too much. :D

Here's a 1983 TC taken in 1984.

Here's what our 1st Cougar looked like back in '85 (old pic)

Yes it is, the picture was taken at the Willow Springs Raceway during a Shelby convention.

I apologize for the resolution but I do not own a scanner so it's a pic of a pic
Me in my 86 TC somewhere on I-95 between Worcester MA and
FT Lauderdale FLA In March of 93 or 94
notice the old school cassette to CD adapter :D
(and yes I was going 80mph)

That looks just like my first bird except I had 8 hole wheels

I have posted this before, but its perfect for this thread....... :-) Me and my 83 in 1987 i am the 2nd owner, and still have the car today....resto is in my future, hopefully soon.

Yeah, I saw that too and made me raise an eyebrow. Probably the guy didn't do research or got a pretty abused one and wasn't willing to do anything so ended up like this: :toilet: But we know better.

Here is a couple pics from back in the 80's of our 83. My parents traded a 79 in on this and this was the car I took my drivers test in. It was a very early 83 ordered in Raven Black to match a 57 we had then. I was given the car when I finished school in 86 and I proceeded to trade it for a corvette. Used to see the car from time to time but that was 20 years ago and have no idea what became of it.

My Dad's '83 Cougar 302 around 1987. It was red with tan interior, and had manual windows and locks.

Late again.... I wanted to post this last week.:hick:

8/10/83 is when I bought my TBird and this picture was taken just after I got it.

27 years later, I guess this is a vintage photo!
