Hi I just got finished replacing my heater core in my 88 Turbocoupe and when i put everything back together my heater control lights are flashing, it seems to work ok but the lights will flash in the unit after about ten seconds. any help would be great!! :canada:
Here's the write-up on the ATC issues off of cool cats.

Mine sometimes blinks after about 5 minutes of driving and resets when I turn the car off. Although I may take 40 or so trips at a time without any problems. It's just weird.
By the way, I see it's your first post... Welcome!
Thanks alot, i printed of that link, i am going to try it tomorow. hopefully I will get a code out of the thing
Its probably a Connector you didnt replug or a blocked actuator when remouting....
Check codes...
When i did my core, i forgot to replug one of the connector on the box which hold the core....
I did the self test it came up with code 02 Floor/Panel Actuator out of position, going to try and figure out how to fix it , ANY Suggestions,
I had that code as well. I went to the Ford dealer and asked what it meant. My answer was a prompt "I dunno" :dunno: So I lived with it and a couple days later the lights were not flashing anymore. A week later, they started flashing again and once again in a matter of days stopped flashing. Now it only flashes occasionally like I said before, after 40 or more trips. It then goes out again. Have no clue.
Try using your heater in the warm weather to see if you get the flashing. I turn mine on at leaast once a week to cycle fluid through my heater core and the only time it has ever flashed is when the temperature is really low..... Leads me to believe somethins getttin stuck when it's cold outside. Whenever I test for codes I get none....
Hey, I see you're in Nova Scotia! Where at? I'm in Sackville
Coldbrook
Cool, I've got a buddy down there. His wife owns "The Reel Deal" used clothing store in New Minas, in the old theatre building. My sister used to live there too, behind the Ford dealership at exit 14.
Glad to have another Nova Scotian on board. We now outnumber the Newfoundlanders :D
That's OK! One Newfoundlander is better than two Nova Scotians anyway :D
