What do the seats and door panels look like?
Here are some seat pics, let me take some of the door panels,
Those look like my current seats.
those are cougar seats the insert goes to the edges unlike Bird seats. these are bird seats.
door panels need to be cleaned up, I haven't had time to mess with yet.
Are those seats gray with regatta blue trim?
No they are faded raven. but otherwise in great shape. easily redyed back to original.
pic of dash rear bumper, alloy sill plates, locks, nos steering wheel, visors, door pulls and screw covers thanks
I'll take some pics of those when I get home and pm them to you.
TTT Come on make some offers need the room.
Would like to see the black sill plates please.
Are the windshield wiper parts for interval wipers? If yes, I'm interested in those, too.
Pics?
What year are they from?
Oh and shipping to 11735 if you please. ;)
did those hinges sell? are they they springed ones or just a regular hing?
Reg hinges from an 86 and $10- sprung hinges from an 88 are $20. I have the wiper motor and switch for interval wipers, let me check to see what else is needed for the swap.
THANKS for checking and please send me a PM about them once you decide what you've got and what's need to convert my '86 XR7 from non-interval to interval please (that way I don't risk missing your message ;-)
PM me reference the hood springs so we can set something up.
We are in finishing up the new building for our parts and are sorting through everything so please bare with me.
V8DEMON- pm sent
COUGARGAL- I am sorting through the parts and looking for the interval governor to complete the change over for you.
Thanks! Let me know via PM when you locate everything (so I don't risk missing the post)
Thanks for the Parts and the Wiring Diagram!
I'd just like to ask one question, if I may.
Your schematic (and the ones in our Electrical Manual) show a different connection between the Wiper Motor for the Interval set-up and the Two Speed Set-up. The Motor's for the interval wiper has 5 wires and the two speed motor has 6.
In the box of parts you shipped... the motor has the same connector as the one mounted on CougerGal's Cougar.
I'm leery of taking out that existing motor (and breaking something ... like I usually do :D) if that isn't necessary. Do you know if the Interval & 2 Speed Set-ups use the same Motor ??
Thanks !
I am not sure if they use the same motors, I sent the same motor that I have on my 86 with interval wipers. I'll look at the wiring diagram again tomorrow when I get to work and check into it for you,
That'll work... Thanks !!
sorry got crazy busy at work I'll try to print out another diagram and check it out this weekend
the 6th wire looks to be an external ground, probably for park. with the intervals it is grounded through the governor.
So... just to comfirm .. the motors are the same in both configurations..
(Not trying to be dense... just got in from work..)
I looked into this too ...the answer is...... yes the motor is the same :D
