Is this a dealer item or aftermarket kit ? I have never seen one
 This car is for sale  Massachusetts in  my hometown.
 1 owner with 8300 miles

Really Nice '83 Heritage.

As for the Spare Setup, Don't recall ever seeing that before... I know a member here has a trunk lid with a bump (Like MK7's) to simulate that though.

Aftermarket. No 80's T-bird left the factory with that abomination attached to the rear bumper......

get that ugly thing remove before it speads to the rest of the car. i do belive mercman would love the wire hubcaps heck the whole car then he can have a complete set.that car is mint.

I don't recall seeing anything like that in the Ford Accessory Catalog, but then maybe I intentionally blocked it.

It is definitely an aftermarket accessory, never a dealer item. That same ugly kit was sold for use on an infinite number of cars.I recognize the design of the bumper piece that holds the tire in. The value of the car will increase if it is quickly removed! LOL!

Poor vinyl roof! It looks like old ladies blue hair on a 23 year old...
