Is this a dealer item or aftermarket kit ? I have never seen one
This car is for sale Massachusetts in my hometown.
1 owner with 8300 miles
I don't know if it's dealer or after market but holy is it ugly!
Really Nice '83 Heritage.
As for the Spare Setup, Don't recall ever seeing that before... I know a member here has a trunk lid with a bump (Like MK7's) to simulate that though.
I believe there's a vert pic on Coolcats with one of those kits too.
Looks better on Cougars. :D
Aftermarket. No 80's T-bird left the factory with that abomination attached to the rear bumper......
Agreed 100%
I was wondering if it was a over the counter ford accessory or just a really cruel aftermarket company :hick:
get that ugly thing remove before it speads to the rest of the car. i do belive mercman would love the wire hubcaps heck the whole car then he can have a complete set.that car is mint.
I don't recall seeing anything like that in the Ford Accessory Catalog, but then maybe I intentionally blocked it.
Not cool, and butt ugly all at once.LOL.
can you even come up with one for it?
Found this on there:

It is definitely an aftermarket accessory, never a dealer item. That same ugly kit was sold for use on an infinite number of cars.I recognize the design of the bumper piece that holds the tire in. The value of the car will increase if it is quickly removed! LOL!
Poor vinyl roof! It looks like old ladies blue hair on a 23 year old...
Thats me. Although I don't have it on the car.
