And...its the *first* ever 300+ hp vehicle to reach that mark. Wow.
Bring on the 2020 CAFE ratings...we'll still figure out how to make more power
Awesome isn't it! I'd love my 08 to be that good!
And that's why you should all love the new Camaro. Good competition = Good products. I'm pretty sure Ford had given up completely on their V6 Mustangs, until that V6 Camaro showed up with a real world class engine. Hopefully this sends Chevy back to the drawing board, and we can reap the benefits from here on out on both sides.
Agreed. Plus one for capitalism! :D
'Tis a good point. Honestly didn't think about it, but at the same time when they came out with that and boasted about its power I did have pause for a moment and went "wow no one really has anything to match, especially not ford"....
Does anyone else think that these new powertrains have rendered 2010 Mustang's absolutely worthless? Anyone who knows what they're looking for will never buy a used 2010.
Somebody just woke up from a very long nap.
I "almost" feel bad for anyone that goes out and buys a 2010 mustang given the GT will have the new 412HP 5.0 for not much more ant the new sixer will be a very nice little ride. Then again, a new drive train may be reason enough to hold back and wait for it to prove itself.
Exactly what I thought. I would not buy a 2010 even if I could afford it! You maybe have noticed the prices dropped recently....
Oh, and yeah, BRING ON THE CRATE!!!!!!!!!:evilgrin::evilgrin:
