last night apoun driving around town my car whenever i drove it shook badly looked at the tranny fluid thinking it was that it was low but not the problem. so i continued to think of the problem and now that it is raning even harder than yesterday it is worse it sounds like a miss but also it could be eletrical as well. because i found some ,rotted tfi wires that are bout ready to fall out almost but my question is could this be affecting how it runs when wet also could the bad ground affect the way it is running?
The ground probably would affect the way the car runs. My car ran horribly and wouldn't stay running when I would drop it in drive from park. Turned out to be a ground wire. Fixed the ground and the car ran fine.
if your TFI wires are rotting...fix that! regardless if its your issue, it will be an issue if you dont take care of it
as for your running issue, it could be many things, how much fuel was in your tank?
The first thing I'd look at is the plug wires and distributor cap - running rouugh in wet weather is a very common sign of bad wires and/or dist. cap. While changing the wires, take the opportunity to do a full tune up (plug wires, dist. cap, rotor button, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve)
