The visors have very good springs, the mirror covers are very snappy, and the horn button are all in A1 shape.

I recently snagged a set of those visors from a salvage yard and they are made very well. They have a solid plastic base instead of that flimsy cardboard like my 84 had. The vanity mirrors themselves are in excellent shape and the lights operate on-off as they should. These are a great upgrade and a direct drop in for earlier cars with the flimsy cardboard ones!

I would LOVE to have a blue car, and these visors are making me sad that I don't have one, because I want to use them!

Do what I will be doing.... Get some quality headliner material and recover them the correct color. Then take out the plastic visor mirror assemblies and dye them to match.

Was the shade out of an LX?

You know, I actually couldn't tell you. Must've been an LX or a sport. What's the difference?

The shade is the same no matter what Bird or Cougar has it. I was wondering about more blue interior pieces like the door map pockets or full door panels. The LX and Turbo Coupe have the same style with the exception of the matching seat filler piece. I am also looking for the rear package tray.

Use this for knowledge. The vehicle that I was looking into has also since been sold. But at least I know where to go to get a great looking sunroof shade in blue.
