Good haul.  What is that overhead console from?  I'm considering looking for one for my truck.

Those are the earlier LSC turbines that have the stampings on the front side. The wheels were made in England for Ford by a company called GKN.

Thanks fellas, glad to hear the compliments...I'd rather have turbines, but until someone makes 'em in 5 lug....
Dunno why not, we can get pony's in 16" 5 lug, 17" 5 lug...why not turbines...?

Anywho, I hope they'll look good on the car :hick:
Guess I could use some ranger or exploder wheels lol

I dunno...I think the offset on some of those wheels would be wrong. Just dunno about the looks, as well.

I did save that Tbird pic though ;)

Technically,they are turbines,but they're not "right".They don't have that look.

Yup, there's just something "off" about the others. I really love the look of the XR-7/Stang Turbines. I know a bigger wheel would fill the wells better, but I just love the look of the turbines. I had the 16" T/C snowflakes on my car for a year or two, but they just didn't look like a muscle car wheel to me. Turbines bring back memories of the General Lee too!

If you're wanting the General Lee style then what you really need is a set of American Racing Vectors. I remember seeing them for sale on Summit a while back.

LSC turbines are more in the class of '80s wheels like basketweaves. Painting them black in the center really wakes them up.

They're not for everybody, but I like them and they're cheap. :hick:

I'm not looking for an exact General Lee style, and if I remember correctly, those were only 14" anyway. I just think the XR-7/Stang turbines are reminiscent of the vectors just enough to give a hint of the old muscle car look, yet very 80's style. Those LSC wheels are very nice, but too classy/refined for the muscle car look that I like. Very nice 5 lug alternative though!
