More snow is supposed to be coming Tuesday/Wednesday... possibly another 6"-12".
:punchballs:
holy cow!
I'm never leaving Florida.
Yeah, 28.5" with another 6"-12" (or more based on the weather report I just watched) coming in a day or two.
I'll never get my fuel pump and driveshaft done.
We've gotten almost 2 inches overnight, and still snowing, but thankfully no wind. Supposed to get about 2 more inches today, and tonight...then bitter cold.
Ughh, gimme April already.
you Al Gore for inventing global warming! :flip: lol
I know how you feel. I really can't wait for spring, it's no fun working on my car in temperatures in the single digits. 6-10 inches expected Wednesday :P
We are supposed to get 4-8 inches tonight and then more later in the week. I just got back from some training in Orlando and am wishing I could have brought those temps back to Indiana with me. It has been a py winter. Hopefully spring will be here sooner than later.
LOL it wasn't that bad... I was surprised that after the snow stopped it cleaned up rather quickly. I was fully cleared in the front and had both cars cleaned off in about an hour. It was that light fluffy snow
hey man, its called hybernation:D:D!! angry grizzly bears so do mean cougars and nasty birds:evilgrin:
When a plow goes down the street and creates a 4ft high wall of packed snow and ice blocking in both Mountaineers and my driveway... it's bad.
Cleaning the cars & trucks was no big deal. Getting rid of the plow wall was a 2 day P.I.T.A.
please just keep that down south:D. snow keeps the miles off your odometer:hick: as a fellow northerner, i feel your pain.
I'm putting on new brakes and struts in my 50 degree service bay... Ihad the moon roof open going to the store at halftime of the football game...we have only had 1 snow day all of this winter..3 inches and it paralyzed the town...
whats stopping you, i dont see much snow "UNDER" the car :P
and they didnt plow in my neighborhood.
im pissed that my work is shutting down on wendsday because of the other snow we are getting.
My street didn't get plowed either, the 24" storm in December it did but not this one. I think I was better off because the plow does leave that huge thick wall of packed snow right in front of the house.
I Just watched the ch 6 news they called for 18"-24" for tuesday in to wednesday LOL
Im amazed at how much pretty much EVERYONE south of here has gotten for snow. Record amounts...and it all just blows off to the atlantic before it gets here. Lookin outside right now at half the lawn exposed.
I'd just like it to be above 25 degrees for more than a day. Though it was a really clear day I noticed it was almost quarter of 6 and there was still sunlight coming over the horizon! That right there keeps me goin.
Hey Cougrrr, I wish you were a bit closer. Id say haul the car up to my garage with your parts and do the swaps here. I usually keep the garage around 70-80. Ask Hcor.
well you guys got pounded down there but here in the northern part of the state we have no snow at all and i see green grass! but its still cold as hell.
got a few inches on the ground already so everyone on the road is :burnout:
Yeah tomorrow should be fun, I was going to trade in my explorer 2 weeks, glad I didn't now.. I'm really enjoying the 4x4 this past week
Pittsburgh got 21.1" last weekend and we're getting 6"-10" more over the next 12 hours. I haven't driven my car since last Wednesday.
In Frederick, MD we are under a Blizzard Warning today.... such fun!

Supposed to be blizzard conditions here at some point today. Right now it's been snowing since about 7pm last night, and they say it will continue until 10pm tonight. This time it's a heavy, slushy snow that is going to be a real P.I.T.A. to move around. Both Mountaineers and the driveway already have an icy plow wall blocking them. One of my shovels already broke from the weight of the snow I was moving.
Winter sucks.
its snowing steady and it seemed like every corner i turned down the snow came from that direction :P everyone has the heaviest thing they own on and all bundled up with gloves and scarves and such, while im walking around in just a zip up fleece and a tshirt. sissies :hick:
i got some neglected land rover POS that plows thru snow like its not even there(so i can get to work) but it doesnt compare to my ram 50 for playing in the snow. i blasted thru plowed up snow with it and it never had a problem with it. i miss that truck.
i missed the news today but i couldve swore i heard even more is instore for next week.
Yeah, I've been out there shovelling my neighborhood (lots of elderly neighbors that can't do it for themselves) in just a flannel jacket. Of course I was working up a sweat, so a heavy coat would've just made it worse.
They did say something on the news about another storm coming on Monday, but I didn't hear the details. All I know is schools are already closed tomorrow, so my kids are happy. This is now the snowiest season here in recorded history. The previous record holder (1996) is the year my wife and I had our first daughter. That blizzard had us snowed in for a couple days... just the two of us... so we had to find ways to keep warm.
Now that we have kids in the house, we're just cleaning and having a Dukes Of Hazzard marathon... and waiting for the kids to go to sleep!
Hey, come on up here, it ain't snowing at all right now. Just dress warm, and uh, bring a shovel.
Just had a 30' evergreen tree fall in my backyard. Took out our gazebo and damaged the pool. Just missed hitting the house. Friggin' tree just tipped right over, huge roots popped right out the ground. Probably took out the back fence too, but I can't get back there right now.
I REEEEEAAAALLLLY hate winter!!!
Last weekend northern Delaware got 26" of snow, but it was a dry snow and the snowblower cut through it fine (had the Mustangs safely inside the garage):

Today they're saying we'll end up with 18-24" more, but it is a wet snow with blizzard winds. I've blown the snow twice already since it is so wet & heavy. Can't wait til Spring really comes...
, I-95 is deserted and a mess. couldnt even get to 50 i was all over the place because of my bald tires even in the tracks that were already there.
nothings plowed anywhere and everything was closed, all i wanted was to get something to eat and somewhere to eat it.
thats a pretty close call, i cant tell you how many trees we cut up(when i had that job) that fell on peoples houses and really messed them up.
guess your lucky no one got hurt, right...?
We got 12 inches of snow Tuesday into Wednesday. It's not bad;)
I know I am a little behind, but I was busy plowing. Here's what I had at home...

I live south of pittsburgh, we've been breaking records like crazy! Here's a couple pics. from the 6th.
Spring is now a month away:D
Spring is now 3 months away:D
yeah i hear ya, i thought we were going to be out of the woods because it was warming up to near the 40's. im looking out the window now and its snowing like crazy, we are supposed to get 6 inches+ when it gets done. oh well.
Anyone watch the weather forecast????
My boss was filling me in on the weather reports.
I've noticed a ton of people near Philadelphia on this board.
my sister is coming down here from upstate new york by bus this friday so i think her trip is going to be a little fun. i hope i mean that as a joke since she will have her kid with her and all.
jesus christ, more snow to not get plowed and every idiot getting stuck in it with their lowered shiznitboxes on my way to work.
Yeah, we're expecting 6-10" on my side of the state between tomarrow night and friday. I'm so tired of shoveling snow!!! At least we had a little break from it.
They're not forecasting snow here, just 25 below zero wind chills all night until noon tomorrow. Sure glad it's almost March....
We're supposed to get snow here tonight. The national weather service is predicting 1"-3" but we are also under a Winter Storm Watch with a "potential" of 5 or more inches.
We're trying to sell our house, which would be difficult enough without mother nature making it ed near impossible for people to come lokk at the thing!

Just watched the news...another 12" with 45mph winds.
It's not looking too good for us either.
Chicago is getting an inch of lake effect snow tonight......
Yes! We just got a dusting this time! WoooHooo!
Shiny Side Up!
Bill
nothing stuck to the ground here yet and its been snowing since 6am.
20+ inches by morning!! dang bird looks like a giant marshmellow!! its my fault, i HAD to brush off that dusting of snow yesterday!! :beatyoass:kill that dang ground hog!!!:beatyoass:
I heard NY was getting hammered all day. I think we're suposed to get 6 - 10" tonight into tomarrow. It's been one heck of a winter!!!
Well, that wasn't fun. It wasn't much snow here, maybe 8-10" but the high winds killed us. Visibility through the night was horrible and the drifts were deep. Only good thing is the overtime in the paycheck!
We got hit pretty hard last night to. We went down the road to my parents and as fast as I would brush the car off to go it was covering back up. On the way home my Escort ZX2 was dragging bottom in it, so I'd say we got 6-8" at least, with more on the way. I'm so tired of shoveling this !!!
a few showers today, sunshine through the rest of the week, temps
in the 60 degree range, we are experiencing the warmest winter on record with a total snbowfall of 1.8" - tulips and daffodils blooming,
and my wife mowed the backyard last weekend. really bad for the
snow tire and wheel business.
