Title: Lost Flat Rate Package...
Post by: DVP on February 02, 2010, 12:21:34 AM
Sent out Monday, 1/25/10.

St Louis, MO to Cape Girardeau, MO.

Flat Rate Priority Medium box

"Delivers within 2 days in most cases"
http://www.usps.com/prices/priority-mail-prices.htm

"Priority Mail  2-3 Days"
http://www.usps.com/prices/welcome.htm

Yet to get there. I didnt get tracking because they made me use the stupid machine and the lady that was "showing" me how to do it skipped it before I could say anything. I still have the receipt, but from everything I can find it looks like if you dont get tracking its just lost and thats it.

What should I do? I plan on calling tomorrow but Im afraid they wont be able to help me.

I have had a lot of trouble with slow USPS lately. I have had 3 ebayers in the last month say that they didn't get my packages, and they end up there in like 2 (sometimes 3) weeks! I started getting delivery confirmation now.

It took them 3 weeks to get a title mailed from cleveland to my house (only about 70 miles)! , I could have walked there and got it quicker.

Just sit tight, it will probably get there. Also, if it was an ebay item, make sure that the address that ebay provided you is actually their address. Sometimes they move and don't update their address, and the package is sitting at their old place. I have had that happed too.

Sent an email last night since it was too late to call. My local Post Office called me back this morning but I was in class. I am waiting to hear from my girlfriend to see if she got it today before I call them back to further the investigation.
