I got one in a trade here on the forum for some parts.I gave it to my wife and she's loving it.Well,I thought it would be cool to have one for myself.I watched Ebay and got one for a good price from a reputable seller. It has a bad battery.I was curious if anyone knows how to change the batteries on these.I looked them up on Ebay (the batteries),and they are flat square shaped and look simple, but,I thought I'd seek out some info before I dove into it.
I have one as well but I have no idea how to open it to get to the battery, if you find out let me know. I would like to clean the dust out from under my screen
I would probably start poking around here...

Vinnie , That looks alot like a Guitar pick they used to open it with. :poke:
That's exactly what it was.
Yea touch's are sweet,i got the wife one two christmas's ago and she loves it still.
Just got myself an iphone recently(same as a touch but with the added phone feature's and, it's a keeper.
After the new battery is installed in the one I just got from Ebay (and everything is good after that),I'll have about $85.00 total invested. It's a 3rd gen Touch.
Good deal, hopefully that's all it needed.
