Well this seems to good to be true. But considering how much I use google i decided to try it. I have made 20 cents today lol. They pay you two cents for every google search and more for referring people. I wouldnt have done it but the dont ask for any personal information at all and all payments are made through paypal. They just ask for the email address to send the payment to. I dont know what you guys think about it but I figured some of you might want to try it.

yeah but it does make sense because they charge 99 dollars a week to advertise because they are generating so many hits. They are probably making most of the money thanks to the people that are doing the searches.
Aight, you got me as a referral.. decided I would do my car info searches with it.. signed up with my own account using your referral number.. and my fiance is also using my account on her computer. We made a whopping 16 cents yesterday.. Smoove. :p

They've had a couple discussions on NetBux so far on that site.. seems like the jury's still out. Some are quick to label it a scam, others are waiting to see if this place can hold up past the middle of the year.

I decided to buy five of their un-referred users as referrals.. currently $1 each. I figured I could waste that much tonight on beer if I were so inclined. (I usually do indulge after mowing the lawn when it's been REALLY dry like it has been lately, because I often end up consuming [against my will] a couple pounds of airborne dust and old decayed clippings.. and nothing goes with yard debris quite like a 6-pack) It's also a similar amount ($5 total) to my yearly lottery expenditures.
I'll mess with this until the next payout period.. (May 15th) see if I get a few bucks out of it. Da woman and I share the NetBux account, so we split the max of 40 paid searches a day. Shouldn't be too hard to do 20 searches each every 24 hours for a couple weeks. I can eat up that much just searching for car stuff. If I don't do well, I'm only out 5 bucks and a little bit of extra time vs. what time I'd have wasted online anyway searching for all this car-related nonsense. If I do get somewhere with it, it's a little bit more money to put into the cars.
Getting $0.02 cents per search. Yay! I'm rich! :rolleyes: Too good to be true? How about not good enough to be worth it. I used to make more money than that by putting ads on a py website I had and got $0.10 per click. I'd go to school, click on the link on my page from every computer. Total of 50 computers. 5 bucks a day for 15 minutes work wasn't too bad.
Imagine how much those people (netbux) are making from big time commercial advertisers that probably pay as much as $1.00 a click.
Actually, I think the people on that forum I linked to were having some questions about NetBux's sustainability, that they may not be pulling in enough cash to pay everyone. That's why I figure I'll do it for 2-3 weeks.. they may not be around much beyond that.
Has anyone read the policy on payment? It seems they will only pay you if you make $50 in a month period. At least that's how I interpreted it:
50.00 / .02 persearch = 2500
2500 / 31 days = 80.6 searches per day.
You need 80 per day to make $50, but there's a max of 40 per day?
Ummmm.... am I missing something here?
Need a referral or two to get there, it sounds like.
EDIT: With any and all referrals from being the first to post about it here, 1986Tbird should have no problem hitting the $50 payout if anyone other than myself signed up as a referral for him. For me, I only have a chance if one of my own referrals turns out to be a heavy user of this stuff.. but as I was trying to state before, (in so many words) my expectations are already low so it's hard to disappoint me. :D
