These are mustang 1-3/4 hooker super comp I just got them back from the coaters today. I got them from a guy on ebay shipped for $275(new). then coating was $250. both equal less then the painted ones cost new $580. I cant wait to put them on tomorrow.
Wow.....those are pretty.Too pretty to use. Can't you hang them in the living room and just look at them?
Nope, I just finished bolting them up but now I need to cut out the tranny crossmember and make a new one so I can run lers. The end of the collectors is almost hitting the crossmember how stupid is that
Get to cutting, and pics when you're done.Again, those are sweet.I've thought about long tubes, but just can't bring myself to do it.
Got any pics yet?????? Them there things are PRETTY !!!!
still wating to get my exhaust done before I make my mount but this is what I got
Looks great.
Your car is the tits man. Nice work all around!!
well just finished making the cross member now I need to make tabs on the frame rail to mount this bad boy and then I can get my exhaust done (personally I like driving it with open headers).
That's what you call squeezing them in there. Nice job they look good.
so this is what I ended up with, a problem that I did not see before is that the thing sits 3-1/4 in from the ground. Once I get my exhaust done I will try to fix it but I just needed something to hold the tranny since I cut the factory brackets off.
some more
wow that sits way too low for my comfort. But i got to hand it to ya with the fab skills. One thing i saw would there be a way to angle the cut outs for the exhaust up insted of down for clearance?
I will try to fix it after I get my exhaust hung then I will see how much room I have I needed to make this so I could remove the factory mounts. But I agree it is way to low for me also good thing I bought extra tubing
